Kendrick, States looking to give local talent a place to play with Halifax Hoopers
Wolfville native Tim Kendrick is coming back to Nova Scotia to coach the Halifax Hoopers.
“For me, to coach a team in the city here, an hour from where I grew up, I just love it,” Kendrick said. “I think it’s a great thing.”
The Hoopers went 16-4 in their first season in The Basketball League (TBL) in 2025. The pro circuit, which began in 2018, runs from March to June. Kendrick takes over for Augy Jones, who coached the squad in Year 1.
